1. Indicative Estimates & Final Quotes

All prices displayed on this website, including calculations generated by our online calculator, are indicative starting prices based on standard flat-pack items in straightforward working environments.

Final pricing may vary depending on the exact furniture brand, model, dimensions, internal components, access routes, parking, wall composition and complexity. We confirm the final price before beginning any job.

2. Minimum Order Charge (£45)

A minimum order charge of £45 applies to every visit or booking. If the calculated assembly total of your selected items is below £45, the job will be rounded to the £45 minimum charge.

3. Multi-Item Discounts

Multi-item discounts are applied when quoted. If you require multiple items assembled during the same visit, we will review the full job scope and apply a multi-item saving directly to your written quote.

4. Customer Responsibilities & Workspace Access

To ensure a smooth, safe build, customers agree to:

• Ensure all flat-pack boxes are placed in the room of assembly prior to our arrival (unless Collection & Delivery has been booked).
• Provide adequate, clear floor space for the furniture to be unpacked, assembled and positioned safely.
• Notify us beforehand of any restricted access, parking restrictions, permits, stairs, or narrow doorways.
• Ensure children and pets are kept away from the assembly area while work is underway.

5. Wall Fixing & Mounting

Many items (including wardrobes, tall chests and bookcases) require anchoring to the wall for stability and child safety. Anti-tip wall fixing starts from £20 per item. TV wall mounting starts from £60.

It is the customer's responsibility to notify us of any hidden pipes, electrical cables or structural wall conditions before drilling begins. While we use electronic detectors, we cannot be held liable for damage caused by unmarked, non-standard, or improperly routed internal services.

6. Manufacturer Defects, Missing Parts & Damage

We inspect items during unpacking. If a manufacturer component is missing, defective, or damaged inside the sealed box, we will immediately inform you.

We cannot be held responsible for manufacturing faults, defective materials, or manufacturer delivery damage. If assembly must be paused while you await replacement parts, a return visit fee may apply.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand schedules change. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or situations where access cannot be obtained upon arrival may incur a call-out charge up to our £45 minimum order charge.

8. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless a deposit has been collected in advance or a commercial invoicing arrangement has been approved in writing.

We accept bank transfers, online payment links, and card payments. For complex or unusually large jobs, a deposit may be requested prior to attendance.

9. Retailer Independence

We assemble furniture from IKEA, Argos, Wayfair, Dunelm, Next and many other retailers.Hampshire Flat Pack is an independent mobile service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any furniture manufacturer or retailer.
